New to the market and able to be purchased through Whiterock are keys with ‘brains’. These keys have a tiny microchip which can be controlled via your mobile phone (encrypted obviously!) or through a web based solution. This enables you to set restrictions on who is able to enter your premises, what time of day their key works between and which locks they are authorised to open allowing you to not only have restricted access to your premises but also to specific areas.

Most companies have several sets of keys for different things, restricted areas, key safes, cabinets etc all of which can hold critical information from your company that you assume is secure I it’s locked away. However if the keys to these areas aren’t securely held then it isn’t going to matter how many times you lock something away it will always be universally available if the key is readily available.
